Creating More Accessibility by Accepting New Insurances

Creating accessibility has always been one of the most important pieces of the work we do here at Whole Connection. To do this we have always provided sliding scales for those who cannot afford full fee rates and by accepting Medicaid insurance in our local area of Boulder, Jefferson, Broomfield, and Gilpin counties. We know that with the emergency orders to continue Medicaid coverage for many people during the pandemic potentially ending in the coming future, we wanted to make sure we could continue the care for those individuals, while also creating more accessibility by working with other insurances.

We are currently now in network with Medicaid not only in our local area, but with our movement to support our people in Denver, we have begun accepting Medicaid in that county as well. Also we have begun accepting Friday Health and Aetna insurances too. We hope with this expansion that we will be able to continue cover anyone who might lose Medicaid, and also others who were not able to find coverage before.

Although Mila’s Corner is not here, Mila would say, “We have to keep working to keep supporting our community, especially when they are growing!”
