Strength in Motion and Whole Connection have come together in our efforts to offer high-quality affordable trainings for mental health workers, students, and members of the community interested in healing and wellness. Both centers were born from a passion to build communities of like-minded healers who are focused on helping clients from all walks of life thrive. We believe that ongoing training is a core component in keeping our therapists and healers engaged and continually growing. We believe in sharing these trainings with the broader community. Our mission is to bring in experts from various fields who will share their knowledge, foster important conversations, and bring broader awareness to important healing modalities.

Strength in Motion’s mission is to create a community focused on connection, healing, and thriving through providing a blend of therapeutic and movement offerings, trainings, and workshops for individuals, couples, families, and healthcare professionals within the Boulder/Denver area. SIM believes there is no one way to heal, and thus we aim to provide opportunities to explore what modality is best for the individual because we believe in holistic and collaborative approaches to healing.

Expand Mentoring and Whole Connection work together to offer team approaches with some of our clients.  We have found that a team approach can greatly help our clients towards their goals and help them feel more connected.  A lot of times there are tasks that either a mentor or therapist cannot always do or succeed on their own.  If you are interested in having a team approach ask Expand or Whole Connection how you can find a team to support you.

Expand, LLC offers mentoring/coaching services to those in need of support in their day to day life. They address communication, daily-living, and social needs while in the community with their clients where therapy alone may not fulfill each of these needs.  Expand help’s to ensure each client's success in navigating various social contexts, learning new skills and making functional progress.  They work with clients to develop lifestyle, organizational and social skills that prepare them for the world. Expand specializes in issues including addiction, mental health struggles, "failure to launch”, depression and anxiety, self-esteem, self harm, as well as difficulties with relationships, school and job performance.  Expand's mentoring service helps clients develop coping and life skills while putting these skills into practice — and then goes even further. They can help with practical tasks such as creating resumes, job hunting, meal planning, creating a workout regimen, or any area that clients find they may be stuck. They can also act as a sobriety coach and companion if a client has struggled or is still struggling with addiction. They offer the opportunity for real world experiences while providing a stable, supportive environment where clients can flourish.  Their goal is to help clients discover, develop, and move towards the life they have always wanted .

Naropa Community Counseling Center (NCC):  We partner with NCC in our trainings and referrals.  In our initial phone screens and assessments with potential clients we try to find the best fit for a therapist.  Sometimes that is not us and in those cases we do look towards NCC as a possible referral.

Naropa Community Counseling integrates contemplative approaches with modern clinical practice to assist our clients in reaching their highest level of emotional and mental well-being. We provide cutting edge, transformative intervention across a broad range of therapeutic services. Naropa Community Counseling accepts Medicaid and our self pay rates are $60-$130.
