DR Chloe Wright, PhD,
Licensed psychologist (she/they)

Chloe Wright (she/they)  has a wide variety of clinical experiences and expertise. While she currently works solely within Whole Connection’s trauma program for clients of probation, all of their clinical work has focused on supporting clients and populations that are often marginalized, oppressed, and whose voices are underrepresented in our society. Due to the systemic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal ways oppression can negatively impact a person, many of the folx they work with have experienced traumas from different aspects of their life. Because of this, Chloe supports her clients from a multifaceted clinical perspective, integrating trauma informed practices (EMDR, TFCBT) with humanistic and interpersonal approaches (Interpersonal Process Theory, Emotion-Focused, narrative and Internal Family Systems). They see healing happening in a holistic way, and bring a strong willingness to approach trauma work and healing from that perspective.

Chloe is a licensed counseling psychologist who received her PhD from the University of Northern Colorado, which was the motivating factor that brought her to Colorado from her home state of Minnesota 12 years ago. They identify as a queer, black womxn of color, who sees identity and our complex cultural upbringing as central aspects of who we are. She also identifies as a nerd and loves to learn and grow personally and professionally, whether that’s by listening to a new podcast episode on trauma therapies, or watching choreography videos to dance to in her living room.
